An evaluation for an Intellectual Developmental Disorder (or an Intellectual Disability) may be required to obtain certain services or to participate in various programs (CAP, DD services, etc.) An evalaution for an Intellectual Developmental disorder may be helpful information used to petition for legal guardianship of an individual over the age of 18 years. This type of evaluation includes a clinical interview with the client and a responsible party, administration and interpretation of an aptitude (I.Q.) test, and an assessment of adaptive and functional daily living skills. A written report will be provided with recommendations. The interview and psychological testing are completed in person. The feedback session may be completed in-person or online. Interview - One hour Psychological testing - One to two hours Feedback session - Up to one hour
